EnableProfinet#
This command enables or disables the PROFINET slave stack, allowing the robot to be controlled or monitored by a PROFINET controller. When enabled, it also forwards LLDP packets between the robot’s two Ethernet ports.
Syntax#
EnableProfinet(e)
Arguments#
e: PROFINET mode setting. The possible values are:
0: PROFINET disabled;
1: PROFINET enabled;
2: PROFINET enabled in monitoring mode only.
Default values#
This setting is persistent and retained after a power cycle (a reboot). It is restored to its factory default after a complete factory reset of the robot.
The factory default is 0 (PROFINET disabled) .
Usage restrictions#
This command can be executed in any robot state.
Cyclic protocols#
This command is not available in cyclic protocols.
