EnableEtherNetIp#

This command enables or disables EtherNet/IP slave stack, allowing the robot to be controlled or monitored by an EtherNetIP controller.

Syntax#

EnableEtherNetIp(e)

Arguments#

  • e: EtherNet/IP mode setting. The possible values are:

    • 0: EtherNet/IP disabled;

    • 1: EtherNet/IP enabled;

    • 2: EtherNet/IP enabled in monitoring mode only.

Default values#

This setting is persistent and retained after a power cycle (a reboot). It is restored to its factory default after a complete factory reset of the robot.

The factory default is 0 (EtherNet/IP disabled).

Usage restrictions#

This command can be executed in any robot state.

Cyclic protocols#

This command is not available in cyclic protocols.
